Easy Campfire Pizza

A super simple way to enjoy pizza around the campfire. Who needs takeout when you have this great recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg store bought pizza dough (or make your own)
  • 1 c fresh or canned sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 c sliced olives
  • 1 c canned or pre-made pizza sauce
  • 1 or 2 c mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Roll out the dough on a clean flat surface, or press out in a Dutch oven.

  2. Evenly spread pizza sauce over the dough.

  3. Sprinkle about a 1/4 cup of cheese on the sauce.

  4. Place the mushrooms, olives, and sausage on next.

  5. Cover with remaining cheese.

  6. Bake at 425° F for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is slightly brown. If using a Dutch oven place about 21 coals on top and 10 on the bottom for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is slightly brown.
