  • 1 whole squash of your choice.
  • 2 or 3 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400° F.

  2. Peel the squash and remove seeds.

  3. Chop the squash into 1-inch.

  4. Place squash in the Dutch oven or aluminum foil.

  5. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sprinkle with olive oil and/or butter.
